Historical Nordic Cross flag used by Karelian nationalists and anti-Communists. This became the official flag of the short lived Republic of Uhtua, established in eastern Karelia by the Union of White Karelians in 1918. In April 1920, it was recognized as an independent state by Finland. The Soviet Union invaded it the next year.

This swallowtail pennant was specifically used by the  “Karelian Forrest Guerillas” during an uprising against the Soviet Union from November 6th, 1921 to March 21, 1922.

3’x5′ flags are 3 feet x 5 feet, 36 inches by 60 inches, 91 cm by 152 cm, 1 yard by 1.7 yards. This is the most common size flag you see hanging on porches, small flag poles, hanging at festivals, and inside of bars and restaurants.
