3’x5′ premium 100D polyester flag with a white header and two grommets. Four rows of stitches on the fly and two rows on the top, bottom, and header side. The image is screen printed and appears on both sides.
This flag was designed in 1965 to symbolize the Francophones or Cajuns of southern Louisiana. The original Acadians were French settlers who fled from Acadia after France lost the French and Indian War.
In 1973, the Louisiana legislature formally recognized the following counties as having a unique Cajun culture.
