3’x5′ premium 100 denier polyester. It has a white header with two grommets. There are four rows of stitches on the fly and two rows on the top, bottom, and header side. The image is screen printed and appears on both sides. Writing will be reversed on the back.
This flag was used by Juan Alvarado and his followers the Californios. They seized power in a coup against the Mexican appointed military commandant of California in 1936. However, the city councils of Los Angeles and San Diego refused to join the rebellion against Mexico, and Alvarado agreed to a compromise.
